Bill C-92 Community Guide
Bill C-92: An Act respecting First Nations, Inuit and Métis children, youth and families, is the first federal legislation on the subject of Indigenous Child and Family Services (CFS) and has been in force for over a year now. Yet many people are still struggling to figure out what it means. Wahkohtowin Law and Governance Lodge partnered with Aaron Russell of Conference Doodles to create this real-time translation of our community presentations into text and pictures that discuss the challenges and potential in the National Standards and Law Making. Contributors: Koren Lightning-Earle, Lawyer Hadley Friedland, Assistant Professor Funded by the Alberta Law Foundation #BillC92 #ChildWelfare #UANativeStudies #UAlbertaLaw #Wahkohtowin
