JT Suavé - S.C.A.R.S (Survived Cancer and Righteously Saved)

When I wrote this song, I wanted to express what I have been through and why I move the way I do. Cancer was a big thing that affected me and sometimes still does, but I still thank God because I would have never seen this day without him. It’s so easy to judge someone by their appearance, not realizing what they must deal with or have dealt with. Honest to God, I thought I was never going to make it to 18 because of all the issues that were going on around me, and when I did turn 18, it was the biggest blessing because I could see God was making a way for me. I am now 20 turning 21, and I continue to thank God because now I am starting to see more purpose in what I should be doing. Wasn’t easy writing this song and listening back to it but it had to be done. This is just to give you an idea of what I go through.
