Through a progression of four different chords linked by the same note, the video demonstrates how to develop a coherent line, using the notes of the chord and also integrating chromatic appoggiaturas already seen in the previous episode. Once the line is constructed, the next step is writing and its practical application: the material becomes a foundation for creating variations and improvisations, organized according to a simple and effective structure (the classic ABA form). This type of work allows you to think like a composer (a pianist, etc.), building structured, variable, and musically solid bass lines.
