Mahtomedi Blanks Totino-Grace in State Class AAA Baseball Title Game
The Totino-Grace baseball team saw their 12-game winning streak come to an end in the Class AAA championship Monday, falling 10-0 in six innings to Mahtomedi. It's the second straight title for the Zephyrs and their fourth since 2018. The Zephyrs scored six runs in the top of the second inning to take control of the game early. Alex Kurpis and Peyton Erickson combined to throw a three-hit shutout. Cody Loida and Jake Reubish drove in three runs apiece for Mahtomedi (24-5). Totino-Grace finishes the season with a record of 19-9.
