This set explores replacing the dedicated modular drum machine case with the Roland TR-1000, keeping the workflow focused on immediacy and live decision-making. All drum parts are created in real time from a single starting pattern, pushed forward through modulation, variation, and hands-on performance rather than prepared sequencing. At the center of the system are the Macbeth Oscillator and VHIKK X, with the Cwejman SM-1 and DFAM added for extra weight, contrast, and tonal support. The setup is reduced to the essentials: a more direct instrument built for flow, pressure, and tactile control. The result is a stripped-down, hypnotic live take shaped around continuous movement and raw groove construction. Recorded in one uninterrupted pass, with no edits or overdubs.
