Dr Malinga Performs “Angilalanga” I haven’t slept

Dr Malinga’s first job was handing out advertising pamphlets for furniture shops. His first Payment was R200 and a Cell phone for them to be able to get hold of him when they want him to come and advertise. Then he started singing outside furniture shops, enticing customers into the shops. He also won the Mbabane Cultural Calabash Competition three years in a row and won Voice of choice held on Thobela Radio by bursting into his idol, Rebecca Malope’s song, mimicking her exactly. For voice of choice finals, he sang Brenda Fassie’s Weekend Special. His first big hit was Casanova with Dj Choice and it was nominated for record of the year. His first album was released in 2014 October 10 titled First injection. He had his big break when his song Via Orlando was nominated for top awards. He’s now an Ambassador of South African Tourism. He’s also an Event organizer organizing big events working hand in hand with City of Tshwane and other Provinces including Mpumalanga and the Free State. He used to act on E-kasi story and now he’s acting on one of the biggest Sitcoms in South Africa - Gauteng Maboneng 2 which Plays on SABC 2. In year 2012 and 2013 he was voted the most talked about Celebrity in South Africa.
