Die größte Lüge im modernen Hundetraining

Your dog explodes on the leash – and suddenly everything is supposed to be a "need"? Distance. Autonomy. Exercise. Attention. Social contact. Self-efficacy. Modern dog training finds a cheerful label for almost every problem behavior. This sounds understanding, absolves the human of responsibility, and leaves the real cause untouched. 🔥 INNER CIRCLE PACK Do you want to stop just managing dog behavior and truly understand it? In the Inner Circle, you can expect a comprehensive live call with me every month, the complete recording, exclusive content, detailed video analyses, and the opportunity to submit your own videos and questions.    / @halterschule   — A need is not a wish list. It arises from a state of deficiency, which creates pressure and drives a living being into action. Food, water, temperature regulation, elimination, and safety are among the most basic needs. Many terms applied to dogs today originate from human models of thought: Autonomy. Self-actualization. Pride. Free choice. Participation. This sounds modern and affectionate. For the dog, however, this very supposed freedom can be a heavy burden. Those who make their own decisions must also observe, assess, control, and resolve conflicts. The dog walks in front. He scans his surroundings. He fixes his gaze. He takes over the space. He makes the decisions in encounters. Later, it's said that he has a need for distance. Perhaps he's already carrying a responsibility that should never have rested with him. Not every behavior is a need. Some behavior is the result of a lack of orientation. Even hunting behavior doesn't disappear just because the dog chases a flirt pole, a ball, or a Frisbee more often. Such activities can reinforce the very program that is supposedly being satisfied. An instinct doesn't diminish simply because it's regularly activated. And a strange dog doesn't automatically constitute necessary social contact. Calm social connection isn't demonstrated through frantic chasing, shouting, staring, or escalation. This video clearly distinguishes between: • Need and desire • Need and instinct • Freedom and responsibility • Activity and stability • Human projection and canine perception Your dog doesn't need an ever-growing wish list. He needs support. Structure. Security. Orientation. Leadership under which he can delegate responsibility. 📖 CHANGE OF MINDSET Embodied leadership from the inside out: https://www.halterschule.de/haltungsw... ✨ LIGHT OF PERSPECTIVE The free introduction to a new perspective on yourself and your dog: https://www.halterschule.de/lichtblick 🌐 DOG OWNER SCHOOL https://www.halterschule.de — 💬 What supposed needs are repeatedly attributed to your dog?
