This attribution stems from the perceived power men hold over women in various aspects, such as training, strength, endurance, and other similar qualities. However, just like men, there are women with the same interest, enthusiasm, and determination to make Puerto Rican agriculture thrive. In principle, it is the very femininity bestowed by Mother Nature that motivates them to answer the call.
