Checking Your Engine Oil - You're Doing it WRONG!
Judging from the questions and comments we see continually on the https://GoldwingDocs.com forum site, owners are unaware of the critical mistakes they are making when checking their engine oil. This video shows you how Honda specifies it should be done on the GL1200, GL1500 and GL1800 (all years, including the newest 2018+). NOTE: Many people have asked on this video whether it matters whether or not the bike is on the center stand. The answer is: YES! The bike must be on the center stand when checking your oil.
