We traded our black lace for brass and gears — Noel and I suited up in full steampunk costume and hit the Chicago Steampunk Exposition! From the vendor hall to the hauntingly gorgeous Museum of Wonder and Awe, the vendor fashion show, and finally the grand masquerade ball — this was an alternative lifestyle experience unlike any other. 🔧🎩⚙️ The Chicago Steampunk Exposition is one of the best steampunk festivals in the Midwest. Whether you're a seasoned steampunker or just goth-curious about the subculture, this event will pull you in hard. The costumes? Absolutely unreal. The vendors? Full of one-of-a-kind handcrafted steampunk fashion and wearable art. And the masquerade ball at the end of the night?
