Aegea Saneamento e Participações has called an extraordinary general meeting for July 28th to deliberate on a capital increase of between R$ 1.5 billion and R$ 2.1 billion. The announcement was made this Tuesday (7th) in a relevant fact disclosed by the company. According to the document, the capitalization is part of Aegea's capital management plan and seeks to accelerate the deleveraging process of the company, one of the largest private sanitation operators in the country. The operation will take place through the issuance of new common shares, at the same price practiced in the capital increase of the first quarter of 2026, when the value per share was R$ 55.29.
