A Summer Day in Durand, MI
Canadian National's Flint Sub runs from Port Huron, MI to Battle Creek. Durand is located at MP 253 on the Flint Sub and is the point where the Holly Sub diverges and heads south toward Detroit. The Great Lakes Central and the Huron & Eastern interchange with the CN in the yard north of town. A summer day spent here in August, 2019 provided quite a show from all three railroads. Amtrak also makes an appearance as do some older CN cowl units. Enjoy, subscribe and thanks for watching!!
