Kiltwalk Anthem (Unofficial Anthem)

Impressed by Kiltwalk and the people who take part in it, I created this small video collage. Walking with Barbara and Annmarie from Street Friends Aberdeen was a wonderful experience and showed me the true spirit of the event. [Verse 1] We walk the moor, we walk the glen, With kilted pride we stride again. No gold we seek, no crown we claim, But hearts to warm and lives to change. Across the land, our banners high, Beneath the stormy Scottish sky! Through rain and wind we make our way, Through Highland dawn and Lowland skies. [Pre-Chorus] The road may bruise, the wind may scorn, Yet in our steps, hope is reborn. We feel the strength, we hear the call, Together standing, ten feet tall! [Chorus] One more mile! One more song! Walking proud and walking strong! O step by step, and hand in hand, We help the broken of this land! In every mile, in every breath, We choose the path where kindness leads! Raise your voices, feel the pride, Walking forward, side by side! [Verse 2] For those who toil in shadowed plight, We bear our steps, we bear our light. Let not the world forget the poor, Let not the weak be turned away. Our walk is more than sport or jest, It is the vow to do our best! [Outro] Step by step... Hand in hand... Across the land, we take our stand!
