Enjoy this vlog from Hiroshima, Japan. Join me on a two-day journey through a city that, like few others, embodies remembrance, peace, and new beginnings. On the first day, my exploration began at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. There, I visited, among other things, the Peace Memorial Museum and key memorials like the Genbaku Dome, which powerfully commemorate the events of 1945. Afterward, I continued to the historic Hiroshima Castle before strolling along the bustling Hondōri Shopping Street. I ended the evening with a typical regional dish: Hiroshima okonomiyaki at Okonomimura. The second day started with a walk through Shukkei-en Garden, a tranquil green oasis in the heart of the city. Then I took the ferry to Miyajima, where I encountered wild deer. I visited the famous Itsukushima Shrine with its iconic torii gate in the sea.
