Acrylic Landscape Painting of a Forest Fire - Time Lapse - Artist Timothy Stanford "Ablaze" - 11x14” - Acrylic on Canvas - This is the companion piece to “Crackle.” In that painting, I wanted to highlight the warmth and ambiance that a roaring fire can provide, but with this piece I wanted to showcase the darker side of fire. It was difficult getting the smoke right between the trees, but I hope I managed to portray the danger and threat inherent in such a scene.
