Hello. This is Eat-Bo-Jul TV. I went on a three-day, two-night trip to Gunsan with my in-laws. I covered the accommodations in detail in the video, so here I'll write a detailed review of the restaurants. 1. Seosu Haejangguk We had beef head soup and beef sashimi. The beef sashimi was delicious, but the beef head soup was tasty, but not particularly impressive. I don't think there's anything else nearby to eat here on its own, so it's better to stop by on your way there or back. 2. Mary Grace The Siltarae Bingsu was absolutely delicious. I first tried it in Gunsan, but I've seen it in many other areas. My kids wanted to try it again the next day, and even now, they wish they could go back in time and eat it. And the owner was so kind. 3. Saemangeum Hoe-Jip You might be a bit confused when you first walk in. The first floor is empty and deserted. Following the signs for the second floor, we took the elevator up, and found ourselves at a typical raw fish restaurant with private rooms. There weren't many people in the Bieungdo area, but as mealtime began, a swarm of people arrived, and almost all the tables were full. My children aren't particularly picky eaters, so I wasn't planning on ordering a course meal for them. But they said they wouldn't offer unlimited refills if they didn't order, so we added two more children at a 50% discount. The other advantage is that the full meal is enough for six adults. This is a great deal for those with older children who like to eat. 4. Seowoo Restaurant It opens at 11 a.m. We walked in as soon as it opened, and it quickly filled up. I was very satisfied with this restaurant. 5. Miz Coffee The building is Japanese-style, and the interior design is unique, so it was fun to explore. It was a bit inconvenient to have to take off your shoes when going up to the second floor, but once you get there, you'll realize that the second floor is the real highlight of this Miz Coffee place. Don't turn back because the first floor is crowded. There's more seating than you'd expect, so I highly recommend going up there. 6. Chinese Cuisine The food was average. But the staff were really friendly. We had a full breakfast and dessert, and wanted a quick lunch. Gunsan is famous for its jjambbong, so we went there. They were understanding even if we didn't order enough for the number of people. We also intentionally sat at an outside table, which isn't usually crowded. Perhaps that's why they even offered us drinks. We were grateful. 7. Silbi Restaurant Actually, there was a famous beef rib restaurant right in front of us. I'd been wanting to try that place for a century, but my husband insisted on going because the hotel owner had recommended it. After looking at the menu, I realized it was a true local restaurant. At first, I thought it was a common dish in Seoul, so it didn't seem very special, but it turned out to be delicious. The marinade for the duck stew was a bit sweet, like tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) sauce. I enjoyed it. 8. Shintobuli Chicken If you call Shintobuli Chicken, the owner will tell you which delivery service to use. You can then call the delivery service, negotiate the delivery fee, and place your order. We ordered from about 3km away, and they charged 8,000 won. 9. Dongbu Restaurant (Dolpung Restaurant) I didn't know, but this restaurant was also featured on Heo Young-man's Gourmet. From the moment the sashimi arrived, I was immediately delighted. All the customers who came while we were eating were locals. The conger eel soup and ring sashimi rice bowl are not just everywhere, so I recommend trying them.
