Self-taught in guitar and singing, Bárbara Tinoco was born in Lisbon in 1998 and studied Musical Sciences at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of Universidade Nova. In 2018, she was the talk of her very short passage through the casting phase of the program The Voice Portugal, where, although she was not selected, she sang a theme of her own. That theme was Antes Dela Dizer Que Sim, which she released in 2019 as her debut single, with the videoclip already having more than 12 million views on Youtube. In 2020 she won second place at the Festival da Canção with the theme Passe-Partout, by Tiago Nacarato, and saw her still short career recognized with a Play Award for Revelation Artist. Before editing her first album, she also won a Golden Globe in the category of Best Performer and edited Desalinhados, an EP of collaborations in which António Zambujo, Bárbara Bandeira, Carlão, Carolina Deslandes, Martinez and Tyoz participate. Bárbara, her debut album, arrived in October 2021 and was presented at the Coliseums in Lisbon and Porto.
