Automating Our First Dam | Emberpelt Modder's Survival Guide

Ashford has a dam problem. Namely, that we don't have one, which means any upcoming badtide could cause a badwater problem.. In this episode of the Emberpelt Modder's Survival Guide, we tackle Timberborn water management on two fronts: blocking that persistent badwater stream contaminating our river, and building a fully automated floodgate powered dam upstream to handle badtides... without constant babysitting. Along the way, we run into a classic Timberborn 1.0 issue (causing floods by using both regular dams and floodgates on the same river) and work through the downstream flooding consequences before they get our Emberpelts even a little moist. What we cover: Building our first "real" dam in the Ashford Using the Emberpelt mod's flat-topped floodgates for path-accessible water control Setting up badtide automation so our floodgates change without needing manual adjustment Replacing downstream dams that are causing intermittent flooding Extending the automation network to prevent our beavers from getting wet Whether you're new to incorporating Timberborn automation or working through the same issues in your own colony, this one has you covered. ~ Playlist - Emberpelt Modder's Survival Guide    • Emberpelt Modder's Survival Guide (Ashford)   ~ Socials Discord -   / discord   Twitch -   / dolthra   ~ Mods https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile... ~ Chapters Intro - 0:00 Badwater Dam - 2:59 Badtide Control Dam - 8:09 Downstream Issues- 16:18 Automation - 19:52 Flood Detection - 22:05 Gates - 25:52 Flooding Test - 28:10 Outro - 29:23
