Ezio Novais, a resident of the quilombola community of Agreste, in the municipality of Tremedal (BA), is a farmer who, two years ago, began producing Tahiti limes and seedlings, standing out for the diversity of fruit trees he offers. For the farmer, the arrival of technical assistance from Cedasb brought a new perspective to the field, as it teaches the correct way to fertilize, prune and irrigate the plantation. This is how Ezio began to take advantage of all the available space on his property, planting cassava, peanuts and even creating a soil protection system with brachiaria.
