【J DILLA TRIBUTE LIVE MIX】 MIXED BY DJ KENTA　  / _djkenta_   at INCredible COFFEE KOENJI "VINYL ONLY" Instagrams DJ DJ KENTA   / _djkenta_   Hosts INCredible COFFEE   / inccoffee2020   Video editing Ofuro 早崎   / tacafiro   DJ KENTA　 横浜出身。80年代にレコード店を経営していた両親の影響もあり幼少の頃から SADEやHALL&OATESを聴いて育ち、黄金期と呼ばれる90年代初頭のHIP HOPに衝撃を受け本格的にDJ活動を開始。多彩なジャンルの楽曲を一本の線で紡ぐかのような心地よいグルーブ感溢れるプレイは確実に『踊れる』DJとしてオーディエンスはもとより国内、海外の多くの共演者からも支持を受けるようになる。 2008年3月にはCRAZY KEN BAND"ZERO TOUR"でのフロントアクトに抜擢、活躍の場を広げ、近年ではNYやアジア各国でのDJ、また大手ブランドのPartyや HOTELなどのハイエンドな現場から、野外フェスでのDJプレイなどクラブの枠に捉われず多岐に活躍中。また2017年1月より開局されたAbema TV HIPHOPチャンネルでは毎週月曜日生放送のAbema Mixを5年間担当、同チャンネル内の人気番組”mynameis”にも抜擢され今後の活動への更なる期待を集めている。 そして、20年以上途絶えることなく定期的にリリースされている数多くのMix作品はジャンルを越えた音楽性の追求と現場さながらのプレイが凝縮された至高作品群 であり、日本中のグッドミュージックラバー達からの絶大な支持を確固たるものとし数多のレーベルからOfficial Mixもリリースしている。 さらに2023年からYouTubeチャンネルを開設し映像美とDJ Mixによるシリーズ ”Eternal Views”がスタート。 YouTube:    / @_djkenta_   Soundcloud:   / djkenta   Twitter:   / _djkenta_   Instagram:   / _djkenta_   Born in Yokohama / JAPAN. Influenced by his parents, who ran a record store in the 1980s, he grew up listening to artists like SADE and HALL & OATES. He was deeply impacted by the golden age of hip-hop in the early 1990s and began his DJ career in earnest. His smooth, groove-filled sets, which seamlessly blend diverse genres, have earned him a reputation as a DJ who can get the crowd moving, gaining support not only from audiences but also from many collaborators both domestically and internationally. In March 2008, he was selected as the opening act for the CRAZY KEN BAND “ZERO TOUR,” expanding his scope of activity. In recent years, he has been active in a wide range of venues, including DJ sets in New York and various Asian countries, as well as high-end events for major brands, hotels, and outdoor festivals, transcending the boundaries of traditional club settings. Additionally, since January 2017, he has been hosting the weekly Monday live broadcast “Abema Mix” on the Abema TV for five years, and has also been selected for the popular program “mynameis” within the same channel, generating further anticipation for his future activities. Furthermore, his numerous mix works, released regularly without interruption for over 20 years, are a collection of supreme works that pursue music across genres and condense the essence of live performances. These works have solidified his overwhelming support from music lovers across Japan, and he has also released official mixes for numerous labels. Additionally, in 2023, he launched a YouTube channel featuring a series combining visual beauty and DJ mixes titled “Eternal Views.”
