My Review of the Casio WS-B1000 Step Tracker Watch with Bluetooth

This time I've reviewing a watch that I found for under $40 at Amazon and also the Walmart website (although I was not able to find this watch at any local Walmart stores). This model is available in a black-and-gray version with a positive LCD or a white-and-black version with a negative display. The third variation is the one in this video with its blue band, blue bezel and positive LCD. These watches are priced at about $65 on Casio's website here https://www.casio.com/us/watches/casi... ...but, again, you will find lower prices if you look for them. The main features of this watch include an elaborate stopwatch with lap times and split times along with a 200-lap memory AND a step counter that can track nearly one million steps per day. There's also a one-hour countdown timer and a dual time mode. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters (10 Bar). There's a one-hour countdown timer and five daily alarms plus an hourly chime. It uses a CR2016 lithium battery and should go for at least two years (maybe about three-and-a-half years) before you'll need to change the battery. The watch has an amber-color LED backlight which can be set to a three-second or one-and-a-half-second duration. Then, of course, you knew I would be interested in accuracy. This watch will remain accurate to plus-or-minus 15 seconds per month but it can be even more accurate when you use the Casio Watches app and connect this to a smart phone via Bluetooth. With the app, the watch can check itself up to four times each day for precision timekeeping, right down to the correct second. The app will also transfer step counts and other data. You can also adjust the alarms and other settings quickly using the app.
