Corsica GT day 2, Thoissey - Toulon

Only started recording when I finally reached drier areas. Been having non-stop rain from back home to way down south in Orange. From there, I decided to leave the highway and head on to the smaller roads. Passing the Circuit Paul Ricard and headed to a shop to get some food before I have to board the ferry. Got some spare time to explore and in need of some beautiful scenery to get the feeling the holiday had begun. Right before I reach the port, I found the Mont Faron towering over Toulon. A great pass to really kick off the holiday. A beautiful pass with narrow roads, many panoramic views, a museum, a military fortress, a zoo on top of the mountain and lots of Second World War history. What's great about this pass is that there is only one way up and one way down for motorized vehicles and bicycles. The whole Mont Faron pass is one-way traffic. On foot you have more options, or can go with cable carts to the top. A good place to enjoy my meal for this evening with an amazing view of Toulon. Back to sea level, it's boarding time. To kill time, I've explored the whole ship, at least everywhere I have access to. Ready for a good night's sleep and can't wait to get to discover Corsica the next day.
