HYBRID GUMMY TIRES: WHICH ONE SHOULD YOU GET? #PLEWSTYRES
In this video, we compare the Plews hybrid, gummy tires, that have recently landed here in America. The monster and the beast are two new hybrid tires with the same compound as the Plews tough one that we’ve been running for over a year now. Plews uses a high end, rubber that allows the knobs to stretch a bit instead of tearing. It’s a slower moving compound that has more tacky, sticky feel to it. In this video, we talk about where each of these two tires perform, and which one you might consider buying. When it comes to technical trail, riding and especially hardenduro, these tires are a no brainer. The tough one from Plews is there more strict, hardenduro, specific tire that can sort of do it all. These two tires are a little bit more for specific surfaces. The best being more for consistent surfaces, such as sand or pure dirt or mud. whereas the monster has a little bit more suited for hard surfaces that have loose stuff in between them. With taller knobs on both of these tires compared to the tough one I think they would really suit amateurs a lot better because the last a little bit longer throughout the course of a race or even just for the weekend warrior the last a little bit longer and you’ll get more bang for your buck out of the hybrids.
