Milena Farmer was born on September 12, 1961, in Cannes, a small town in the south of France. Her father, Max Gautier, was an engineer, and her mother, Isabelle Gautier, worked in a bank. Milena had an older sister, Isabelle, who later became her manager and close friend. The family moved frequently from city to city because her father worked for several companies. They lived in Switzerland, Germany, and various cities in France, including Nice and Paris. Through this life, Milena learned to quickly adapt to new situations and surroundings. During her childhood, Milena was a very creative child. She had various interests, such as dancing, singing, and playing musical instruments, including the guitar and piano.
