1958 All Electric VW Beetle by Zelectric

5/19: Battery upgraded to our 100mi range Tesla battery pack, new square weave carpet, headliner and all-electric cabin heating system. Magazine (Sweden) Daytona Magazine & Cal Classix (Japan). 1/19: This car was invited for display at the 2018 San Diego International Auto Show and 2018 Pebble Beach Concours RetroAuto. 8/17: We recently increased the HP of the AC electric motor to 102hp, nearly 3X the original. Diamondback white wall tires have also been added. 2017 Pacific Grove "The Little Car Show" award winner for "Most Interesting Electric Vehicle." Like our other Beetles its AC electric motor doubles the HP of the original and cruises happily at 70mph and will do more than 100 if you want to. We keep our cars looking stock and do not cut or weld anything. This keeps the car's resale value high and it can even be converted back to gas. The car can recharge on any 110v household plug and public charging stations around town. You'll get about 100 miles on a charge.
