Square 1 - Post Stitches of the Textured Fun Square Sampler Blanket Crochet Along 2019

Crochet It Creations is hosting a Crochet Along (CAL) and you are invited to join in! The CAL is the Textured Fun Square Sampler Blanket. Each week for 6 weeks I will release a new textured fun square to make! Get the written instructions HERE - https://crochetitcreations.com/post-s... This is Square 1 of the CAL - the Post Stitches. It uses Double Crochet Stitches to make these fun, but simple textured lines down the square. The Square will measure 7". You can make any size from Baby to King. I did have to change the row count after making this video. END ON ROW 14. Materials needed are an J 6mm Crochet Hook for this square, an I 5.5mm hook will be needed for other squares. Medium weight yarn will be used. I used Big Twist Yarn (6oz/170g, 371yds/339m) found at Joann's in the colors Medium Teal, Medium Grey, Soft Grey, and White. 2 skeins of each color to complete the throw blanket, if using 4 colors and Big Twist Yarn. Plus 1 additional skein to sew squares together and complete the border. Or about 3300 yards for the throw blanket. The throw blanket measures approximately 50" x 60". Each square for the 6 squares of the Textured Fun Square Sampler Blanket Crochet Along will be released on Thursdays Sept 5 - Oct 10.
