From oil paint filters and pin washes to chipping techniques, oil dot blending, and pigment work, I walk through the real challenges of bringing textured armor to life without turning it into a dark, muddy mess. Along the way, I test different approaches, fix mistakes in real time, and show how to balance contrast, grime, and realism on a Zimmerit-coated surface.
