Yosemite National Park July 2026, Mist Trail, Vernal Fall, Nevada Fall, Yosemite Falls.

Vernal Falls is one of the best hikes in Yosemite if you're looking for spectacular waterfall views and great photography. Early July is an excellent time to visit because the waterfall is still flowing strongly. By contrast, when I visited last August, the flow was much lower. If you hike it in the spring, be prepared to get wet—I did the hike in May and was drenched by the mist.
