WSIS+20 UN Agencies Briefing, 03 November 2025

On 3 November 2025, the virtual briefing to UN Agencies aimed to clarify how existing processes supported the implementation and review of WSIS outcomes and their linkages with the Global Digital Compact and other digital cooperation frameworks. It enabled Member States to share feedback, strengthen system-wide coherence, and enhance implementation efforts for the next phase of WSIS follow-up. The briefing also prepared Member States for the WSIS+20 Overall Review by deepening their understanding of institutional roles, coordination mechanisms, and implementation frameworks, while supporting the Co-Facilitators’ drafting of Revision 1 of the WSIS+20 Outcome Document and forthcoming informal consultations.
