PBNU has scheduled the International Conference for November 4-6, 2024 in Jakarta. This activity is a collaboration between PBNU and the University of Indonesia (UI) and the Center for Shared Civilizational Values ​​(CSCV). This International Conference will begin with an opening session taking place at the University of Indonesia (UI) Depok Campus on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 and is planned to be opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto. Meanwhile, the conference itself will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Jakarta on November 5-6, 2024. The Islamic Humanitarian Movement or al Islam lil Insaniyah itself was initiated 10 years ago by elements of Nahdlatul Ulama in the context of the development of NU thought and movement. This movement aims to offer solutions in responding to global challenges based on the character of Islam Nusantara or peaceful and friendly Indonesian Islam. PBNU hopes that through this international conference, the various dimensions (thoughts) of Islamic Humanitarianism can be further explored by academics from across countries. Of course, the process of exploring these thoughts is expected to produce new perspectives (paths) in responding to global challenges, including striving for world peace.
