I Love My Work. So Why Can’t I Relax? Being a freelancer means having freedom over your time… at least in theory. In this vlog, I’m working on the final materials for my Blues for Alice webinar, practicing some new jazz guitar ideas, spending time with my family, and thinking about something I struggle with a lot: the feeling that I should always be working. I love what I do. I love playing guitar, creating videos, teaching, and building my own business. But when the work never really ends, it can be difficult to switch off and be fully present in the rest of life. I’m also thinking about this new chapter of my YouTube channel. Moving from mostly jazz guitar tutorials toward these more personal vlogs feels exciting, fun, and a little scary. But I want to keep going and document the process of getting back into playing more, going to sessions, building my business, and figuring things out along the way.
