Broadway First Dates: Mark Evans and Justin Mortelliti

Mark Evans (The Play That Goes Wrong) and Justin Mortelliti (Escape to Margaritaville) were set up by a Broadway matchmaker: Evans's best friend, Rebecca Faulkenberry (Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark). Mortelliti was living in Las Vegas starring in Rock of Ages at the time, and the pair FaceTimed for months on end. When it finally came time to meet up for the first time, it almost didn't happen. Just before Evans was to fly across the country to Sin City, he was struck with appendicitis. Fortunately, it all managed to come together seamlessly, and they have the gold bands to prove it.
