Tourismustag 2024 in Wittstock/Dosse - Swiss Krono Design Station

New venue for Tourism Day: On Sunday, October 20, 2024, the participating businesses presented themselves to visitors for the first time at the "Swiss Krono Design Station," the former locomotive shed in Wittstock/Dosse. The Wittstocker Land Tourism Association and the Wittstock/Dosse town administration invited all interested parties to attend between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. This year's Tourism Day was again combined with a farmers' market. In addition to the various tourism providers presenting themselves, there was also a wide variety of regional producers from Ostprignitz, Prignitz, and neighboring Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Nearly 40 exhibitors registered for Tourism Day. Delicious cakes, handcrafted products, and exciting destinations awaited visitors to sample and discover on site. Besides the tourist and culinary offerings, guided tours of the "Design Station" and the adjacent youth center were also available as part of the program. Furthermore, the sale of limited-edition Christmas ornaments featuring a Wittstock city motif also began at this event. Fun for all ages, and Wittstock-tv was there to capture it all.
