Friday The 13th (2009) - Blood, Beers, and Bushweed

Join the sweaty Mexican again in the world of sin..ematics. Today we look at the modernized 2009 reboot of the Friday the 13th series. A classic teen horror party movie. Let's drown in liquor and hopefully stay awake long enough to watch some unlucky campers drown in blood. This thing has a great party vibe in a suspenseful horror movie with some decent teen comedy thrown in there. Overall, I thought it was a good reboot of the original first 1-4 films in the Friday The 13th series. Sinematics look prime, acting is decent, definitely some hilarious stoner moments, and the Legendary Jason comes across as dark, scary, and mysterious. What did y'all think of this one? I think people are a bit too harsh on this film because yes, while it did feel too similar to the original films in some ways, I believe it delivers in suspense, cheesy horror humor, and deadly splatter kills. #slasherhorror #fridaythe13th #jasonvoorhees #horrormovies
