Welcome to DTW, the busiest airport in the state of Michigan. Metro Airport is the second largest hub for Delta Air Lines, and serves as the airline's primary gateway to Asia for the Eastern United States. The airport has 6 runways, but primarily uses its four parallel runways for operations, with the two crosswind runways being used only in high wind operations. This video primarily focuses on departures off of Runway 21R, with a couple of rare departures from Runway 22R sprinkled in. Each departure in this video has some sort of wet weather aspect to it.
