His philosophy is that anyone can share music, no matter their age, background, or abilities. Jim Howell is the author of the book A Special Need for Music. He teaches band and music at Osnaburg Local Schools in East Canton, Ohio. Jim also visits Advocates for Success in New Philadelphia, Ohio, to prepare concerts in eight-week sessions. They typically have a fall session and a spring session. Most recently, Jim has started a group at GentleBrook in Hartville, Ohio. 2. Chad Shumaker is a former middle school science teacher who now works as a radio DJ and announcer in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, particularly in Dover and New Philadelphia. 3. Nancy Hunter and Kim Chaney are owners of Advocates for Success in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Advocates for Success is a vocational program for adults with disabilities aged 18 and up.
