Sculpting LOTR HOBBIT Door in Polymer CLAY
Creating a personalized Hobbit Hole - Christmas Style! I spent 12 year in middle earth (aka New Zealand) where I was an artist for Weta Workshop (the physical effects company behind the Lord of The Rings and the Hobbit trilogies). And today I'm especially missing my home away from home, so I'll be sculpting my own personal hobbit hole. The sculpture was made from FIMO doll art (polymer clay). And for the armature I'm simply used cardboard and tinfoil. The sculpture was baked for approx. 30 minutes at 110 degree Celsius, before being painted with acrylic paints. Enjoy!
