FTL Multiverse - Limit 2 Nexus Ending (Hard/Extreme, no Rift Waker)
Sylvan and Prime fights included, rest of Nexus was not that interesting, and the run before Sylvan was also not that interesting (missile/bomb + hack + cloak + crystal boarding, safe but very slow). Both were kinda sloppy fights, was kind of gassing out after playing Limit 2 for a whole run beforehand. So much crew micro... 0:00 Sylvan 12:49 Prime In total was about 5-7 attempts I think, two attempts died to Sylvan, a few resets over not finding Sale sectors, and a death S2 to blowing up the enemy ship with my own boarders inside lmao. Limit B has a pretty solid start honestly, boarders + artemis, but 15 hull and low systems make mid-lategame scary, need systems and/or better boarding crew. Buying a Crystal sector 1 really paid off overall. Luckily had good augment RNG on the first run I got inside Nexus with. I'm not sure about my Sylvan strategy, a Beam Drone (which I used for G-Van right after) might be better than Mender so I can get Hacking onto their weapons. I also forgot to spam Hull Repair more, so I nearly died. Also poorly managed crew, I went for the MC immunity upgrade but I didn't really use it properly I think. But Murderbots Dispersal carried. As for Prime, I keep forgetting to Sylvan Surge past the start. I also accidentally killed Sans when I accidentally Sylvan Surged when I was trying to activate G-Van timestop. Nights died so quickly as well, I thought he would do more. First time using him, now I know I guess. I suppose Obyn's salt and the e-grid melt him even when Nights uses his active. Also forgot to properly vent for the slug boarders at the start, and forgot to activate Defense 3 for some laser volleys and for the boarding drones. Also I should be using Cloaking just to reduce their artillery rate of fire, once their lasers are downed. I think any combination of fire and stun weaponry would work here, except probably avoid fire missiles as they lack the 30% accuracy bonus of Fire Bomb or the 100% accuracy of Laser Beam. But if I didn't have Hull Repair, I think you would need Surge Controller instead of Tracking Flares, as otherwise their artilleries have too much chip damage, even with Divine Armor. But maybe it would be fine if I didn't lose crew to silly mistakes, they would help disrupt repairs a lot more. I think the teleportation fedora would have been better in that case. Might try Limit 4 and then Limit 3 next #ftlfasterthanlight #ftlmultiverse
