Rik Emmett is a Canadian guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter best known as a founding member of the arena rock power trio Triumph. Formed in 1975 alongside bassist Mike Levine and drummer Gil Moore, the band scored major hits with "Lay It on the Line," "Fight the Good Fight," and "Magic Power." Parade Emmett departed in 1988 to pursue a solo career, but has now returned for Triumph's 50th anniversary reunion. Dubbed The Rock & Roll Machine Reloaded Tour, the 24-date run is the band's first full tour in over 30 years. Emmett acknowledged the irony of coming back after declaring he'd retired from touring, saying fan demand and the milestone anniversary made the return feel inevitable. The expanded lineup — which Moore has jokingly called "the first six-man power trio of all time" — adds guitarist Phil X, bassist Todd Kerns, and drummer Brent Fitz to the classic core.
