I've previously covered Gaur Plains from Xenoblade Chronicles on this channel, and that is still one of my favorite covers to date. When I was presented with the chance to take Snowy Valak Mountain (Night), I was super excited. Snowy Valak Mountain's theme is equal parts atmosphere, equal parts groove, and I really tried to retain that in my arrangement to do justice to the original. I haven't played Xenoblade Chronicles myself (yet), so I watched some gameplay footage to get a feel for the area myself.
