A Place for Encounter, Movement, and Participation Are you familiar with the community meadow in Sandow? The community meadow is a collaborative project organized by dedicated citizens in cooperation with the Sandow district management and the Humanist Youth Association of Cottbus. As part of Prevention Week, people were invited today to learn about this project and, ideally, to get involved. Dance Experience for Parents and Babies An experience for babies was offered yesterday at the Caritas Family Center in Cottbus. Parents and babies enjoyed spending time together through music and dance. Piccolo Youth Club Achieves Another Success The Piccolo Youth Club is celebrating another major success: With its production of "ANNE," the ensemble has been invited to the 34th National Meeting of Youth Theater Clubs. This places the production among the five best youth theater productions in Germany, selected by a jury of experts. Following its successful performance at the Youth Theater Meeting in Berlin, "ANNE" will now be presented at the Oldenburg State Theater from October 23 to 26, 2026. Children Design Prizes for Children Artist Martin Schüler visited TAE GUK e. V. to design the prizes for this year's Gondula Award together with the children. The result was a collection of unique, creative, and playfully childlike pieces that demonstrate the imagination and joy involved in this collaborative project. The trophies not only represent the awards but also tell their own little stories.
