JEFE DE LA POLICIA URBANA ES DENUNCIADO POR MANEJAR EN ESTADO ETILICO

A motorist filed a citizen complaint after observing a man driving a car through downtown Encarnación, allegedly intoxicated and performing dangerous maneuvers, on Wednesday morning. The driver is believed to be the Chief of the Urban and Tourist Police, Chief Commissioner Oscar Ortega, a claim Ortega denies, alleging he was only a passenger. This contradicts the accounts of several witnesses who saw him driving the vehicle minutes earlier when he nearly ran over a pedestrian.
