Carlsberg relies on KHS line expertise for greenfield project in China

In the course of an extensive greenfield project in Foshan, China, KHS has installed four ultramodern production lines for various container types that combine cutting-edge technology with maximum efficiency. These comprise a canning line, a combined glass line for returnable and non-returnable containers, a returnable glass line and a kegging system. The canning line processes up to 90,000 cans per hour, with the combined glass line outputting a maximum of 48,000 bottles every 60 minutes. Both lines are highly efficient and contribute to the plant’s annual production capacity of up to five million hectoliters, facilitating the filling of a number of premium brands in the Carlsberg product range. KHS’ advanced line technology reliably satisfies the high demands Carlsberg makes of production reliability, safety and quality throughout the entire filling and packaging process. A further highlight is the KHS Innoline MES Manufacturing Execution System that Carlsberg uses to monitor and optimize its production processes.
