1977 Maico MC440AW restoration day8 part1
I’ve been asking myself if I love Maico’s so much because when you’ve built the bike it’s taken so much of your time and thrown up so many issues that you feel a huge connection to it? Anyway getting closer to having the engine built but everything is problematic. Have had to machine the kickstart shaft down to make it fit and to get a recess for an o ring then I’ve even had to grind the edges of the clutch plates to get them to fit the basket!! Anyway clutch in and ready for the clutch cover and then moving onto the top end. Slowly but surely!
