Turning A Shipping Container Into An Off Grid Tiny House

Hello and welcome (back) to Roots to Fruits! We've finally got the raised pallet floor in our shipping container tiny house to the point where we can actually walk on it! This week, we move on to installing the rear door frame and windows as our off grid container home starts to take shape. Building almost entirely solo means everything moves slowly, and with the weather set to turn wet before long, the pressure is on. Can we really pull off this build by the end of the summer? We're Gemma and Filipe. Two years ago, we bought abandoned wild land in southern Portugal with the dream of transforming it into a self-sufficient off-grid homestead for our family. Starting with zero infrastructure has been a huge challenge, but we're slowly bringing our vision to life. Once we finish the shipping container tiny house, we'll finally be able to turn our attention to the bigger homestead projects: creating reliable water systems, planting trees, installing irrigation, and building a truly self-sufficient life. Thanks so much for supporting our journey—we're so glad you're here. 👍 If you enjoy the video, please give it a like. 💬 Leave us a comment—we read every one! 🔔 Subscribe to follow our off-grid adventure as we build our dream homestead from scratch. #OffGrid #ShippingContainerHome #TinyHouse #DIYBuild #Homestead #SelfSufficient #Portugal #OffGridLiving #ContainerHome #TinyHouseBuild Links:    / @rootstofruits7     / rootstofruits   https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted...
