Minimum volume Oriented bounding Box | Galapagos | Grasshopper 3D
In this video I am demonstrating how to generate a minimum volume Oriented Bounding box with Grasshopper components. OBB can be employed to capture randomly oriented 3D object orientation and to align it to the global axes in Rhino work space. It can be extremely useful to align complex geometry, such as 3D scans, free-form objects, groups of objects, etc. A list of utilised native Grasshopper components: 1. Brep parameter 2. BBox 3.
