Mbeubeuss dump in Dakar is a 'blessing and a curse'
The Malika suburb of Dakar in Senegal is home to one of the largest garbage dumps in the country. The Mbeubeuss garbage site is now a goldmine for thousands of poeple who depend on the scrap material they find for recycling. However the populations living nearby say they can no longer bear the presence of the garbage dump and therefore demand its closure. Leslie Mirungu with more
