The most anticipated part of our trip to Perth, Western Australia, was seeing the Quokkas on Rottnest Island. We booked our ferry tickets in Taiwan beforehand, doing our research and eagerly anticipating what we considered "the world's happiest animal meet-and-greet." On the way there, we took seasickness medication, but it turned out to be too strong, leaving the whole family in a dazed, sleepwalking state upon arrival. Thankfully, we gradually recovered and began to truly experience the island's magic. Although there were a few minor hiccups, we still loved everything about the day.
