Mountain goats, pikas, and jagged peaks! 9 Days in the Enchantments | Backpacking Washington

We were thrilled to win a Core Enchantments permit in the lottery and decided to take our time! We spent 9 days backpacking through the Enchantments, enjoying the spectacular jagged peaks, glacial blue lakes, majestic mountain goats (even cute baby goats!), and adorable pikas. We are grateful to have had this opportunity and hope you enjoy sharing our adventure! We hiked from Stuart Lake Trailhead to Snow Lakes Trailhead, visiting Colchuck Lake, Asgaard Pass, Tranquil Lake, Inspiration Lake, Perfection Lake, Lake Viviane, Snow Lakes, Nada Lake, and more along the way. We enjoyed incredible views of Dragontail Peak, Prusik Peak, and also many stunning waterfalls. The Enchantments are located in Washington's Alpine Lakes Wilderness, in the Cascade Mountains.
