This is a 2-channel amp with a clean and drive channel, but what makes it stand out is the selectable power amp section (EL34, EL84, 6L6, 6V6). On paper, that sounds like a huge tonal playground—but does it really make a meaningful difference? I go through the controls, features, and build quality, and then spend most of the time actually playing through the amp to see how it feels and responds. The clean channel turns out to be the highlight here—full, warm, and very usable, especially when paired with the built-in delay and reverb. The drive channel, on the other hand, is a bit more divisive and might not be for everyone. I also test how well it works as a pedal platform using a couple of overdrives, and check whether that “Tube Logic” concept really translates into a convincing playing experience. Overall, this is one of those amps you probably need to try yourself. It does a lot right, but whether it’s the right amp for you depends heavily on what you’re looking for. Let me know what you think of the Nextone series in the comments.
